1988 MK1 VW CADDY
The Mk1 VW Caddy is quickly becoming an icon in the VAG community. When originally released, the Caddy truck experienced low sales numbers, which can make finding a good example 30+ years later a difficult task.

We sourced this example as a rolling shell that had been poorly painted matte green. After repairing several of the common rust areas, we went to work creating a one-of-a-kind, head turning "SWAG" wagon.

A low milage 1.8 16V KR engine from a Mk2 golf GTI was implanted into the engine bay and a set of ZZR1100 bike carbs made sure everything was running smoothly.

After a coat of period correct VW L380 Turquoise Green the truck was ready to cruise along the beach front in summer.
